Should become available on 9th July unless the current registrant renews usually. Backorder it at public catchers like drop.co.uk and domainmonster.com and reputable private catchers.

I've looked around the registrars/dropcatchers I've already got accounts with, as it'll save me the hassle of opening up new accounts, and both 123-Reg and SnapNames have dropcatching services for the .uk TLD, so I have applied through both of those. How do you reckon they rate (in terms of success in grabbing domains) compared to the dropcatching services that specialise in UK domain names?

Both are pretty rubbish.

If you're serious about catching, you want to book with ALL drop catchers you can. When we were doing the drops a couple of years ago we worked regularly with over a dozen companies.
