Where to auction non-UK seo domains

I'm aware this is mainly a UK forum, but wondered if anyone had any ideas of the best place to auction non-UK domains that would get noticed by the big buyers we're currently seeing on DL and UKB. Ie: I'm not just after the best general place to auction domains, I'm after the ones that are the most active for seo domains, specifically those with deep pockets and a fondness for gambling sites.

Long story short, we have an seo domain that is specifically related to gambling that would be right up their street. It has relevant links from theguardian.com, channel4.com, lse.ac.uk, huffingtonpost.co.uk and so on...

hmm.. this does bring up an interesting topic.. Domain Lore, Transcom and UK Backorder seem to be mostly marketplaces where we buy freshly caught UK domains. .. @Transcom ISP, am I correct in my assumptions about the Transcom auctions here?

@sedo and @godaddy both are amazing of course - though, as for the seo domains > do seo domains have a way to stand out there?

@fruits.co & @nameshift > do you have features that are specific to the seo domains? .. listing such names and searching the database?

@Seo.Domains do you allow listing UK seo domains at your marketplace, of is it closed for submissions and the names there are your own only?

I can add that we (here at Acorn) are working on a tool, that similar to the live auctions, will be dedicated to "buy now" listings + plan to have the live Majestic SEO data. .. there are a number of obstacles here, and @Admin is actively working on this task as the #1 task for now :) .. we will be testing it at nameslot forum with .com names first > and wjen ready >> will launch at Acorn next (Acorn is usually the place where a working product is published first). .. and this would add this functionality of checking "buy now" UK seo domains accross a number of large and smaller marketplaces. No promisses of course :) As usual, we will try doing our best!! .. and, your comments and suggestions always help. .. @Admin how is the process on this one?

I'm specifically looking for auction platforms for this. The prices of seo domains are all over the place at the moment so I'd prefer a quick flip using an auction for price discovery rather than pricing it myself.

I buy non-UK SEO domains. Send me what you've got and I'll make an offer for instant payment if they're any good

And I should add, more broadly, that a non-UK version of DomainLore would be a welcome addition to the market.

You only need to look at the action on the GoDaddy auctions to see that there's a large market for it

I heard that DomainUI are working on a new auction platform - and they’re going to test Sealed Bids and Dutch Auctions, which I think would be great for bargain domains :)

ahhh, this is interesting :) @Paullas :) this sounds great!! fancy sharing more details?

@Paullas let us know when you are ready, so we can integrate these in our auction feeds (there are no fees for these).. + Acorn/DNF (or, me) aren't going into marketplaces niche as don't want to compete with any of the industry players > there is enough competition out there + forums are to provide clean/toxicity-free business community and a way to promote Domain Summit (Summit is my baby, and the baby needs to have muscle and business friends around it).

.. we are also working on a "buy now" feed.. that is a very complex task for @Admin as involves pulling in millions of domain names.. no rush for us there :)

I am still working/testing this so if anyone wants to be involved in testing let me know (PM me).

Thanks.. I might send it over, tbh I may keep it. I was more interested in an auction because for the price discovery element. Ie: I wasn't really looking for a direct sale.

That's good to hear. Of course the issue with a new auction platform is that it needs the right audience (we all saw domains sitting unsold on flip), but if it could get some traction that would be fantastic to hear.

Suit yourself. You can always say no to my offer.

I have no idea what it would go for, that's my point. Recently domains, especially ones that are gambling domains with legitimate links, have been going for silly money at auction - prices I would never ask for in a direct deal. So I was more interested in rolling the dice on an auction.

Truly powerful domains can be sold in a variety of places - you've got Odys, SEO.domains, Serpnames, the list goes on.

There's no real magic to it. I'm a fan of DL, but you don't get an automatically higher price on there just because there are perhaps some buyers in high margin niches.

I'm happy to take a look at what you've got and give you a genuine valuation.

My offer will obviously be lower than the valuation, as that's what I'd be trying to sell it for, but as mentioned you don't have to accept this, and you might glean some knowledge that you didn't have minutes before sending the messge

Up to you, I won't beg, got plenty of deal flow
