I am looking to buy many domains for a multitude of projects/people/companies.......mostly .co.uk's

My ideal requirements are:

mass nameserver/ip changes
automated holding pages that are not just ppc listings
cost effective
easy systems
ability to have many owners
ability to nominet optout if required
easy to mass buy
very reliable

So who can I purchase them from?

heartinternet have bulk options.
you can purchase domain credits in bulk (and use a robot/email to reg)

Bulk Domain Management
This feature allows you to perform common functions - including creating email addresses, setting up web forwarding and changing name servers - for a group of domain names at the same time.

not sure about the 'many owners' bit?
they do have a reseller account for just £1 for the 1st month for you to try.

or try krystal.co.uk - email them - see what they can do - im sure they will help if they can.

dominmonster also looks interesting

Plus daily.co.uk

both also allow you to mass privacy details

Anyone know of a one that allows me to have all the domains within subgroups within an account.

How many domains are you looking to buy/manage? Might work out worthwhile to get your own tag and membership as Nominet's online domain manager should do everything you need.
