Looking at recent domains for sale and the amazingly high prices for some of them and taking a look at how others sell similar names, I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't always depend on the domain name but sometimes who is selling it that gets the higher price.

Some people just hold out for higher prices or firmly believe in the value of their domains and don't nudge on price.

I can't say i've noticed a pattern of sellers as I don't tend to whois domains when sales are reported.
