Will I Lose My Shirt - Gambling Niche

I've been toying with writing about my gambling exploits since this thread:

In short I will be blogging, discussing and no doubt whinging about my gambling strategy. I have a flutter anyway so it makes sense to document it as the more time I spend researching and writing the less time i'll spend gambling

As I'm just entering this niche has anyone got any tips for succeeding in the gambling niche or anything I should avoid so I don't lose the shirt off my back! At some point down the road when I have a following I will want to monetise it, any tips on this also? White label or not?

I did read a blog about the gambling niche some time back but for the life of me I can't remember what it was called, who are the gurus in this niche? Who's blogs should I be reading?
