Spinning too many plates at the moment and just considering what I might sell on to free up time.

Any thoughts on prices for this set of .co.uk?

redwine
whitewine
sparklingwine

First two are established sites but just considering valuation based on domains.

Sorry I know it's supposed to be one domain per post but thought they were so closely related that one post covers it.

I'd have thought in excess of £25K for the set to the right end-user - it's one of those cases where having all the "obvious" domains adds value to the whole package...

I think that is spot on for an end user value. Sparkling poorer name of the set for me, I was thinking around £10k each for the other two.

Thanks for the comments guys - any more out there?

I agree about sparkling being worth a bit less than the other two but it all adds to the set :)

Only other thought was that it would be really nice to see the appropriate rose wine name in there as well, even though it's the poor second cousin of red and white. Then you really would have ALL the bases covered!

I'd say that's a little high if you were looking to market them. Do you get many approaches for them?

great collection of domains 25K would be a good price for the domains, are the websites producing much revenue as that would change things for the better

I've got friends in this industry... not sure who'd pay that much to be honest.

The people who buy vintage fine wines always choose a reputable dealer - it's like an old boys club and they trade based on their good name as you wouldn't believe the lengths some people go to make fake vintage wine.

If you're talking the kind of wine we all probably drink then would you buy it online or would you just pick one up from Sainsburys / Tesco?

Which leaves an informational site - there are quite a few exacts, but the CPC is only $1 so it wouldn't really warrant the price tag.

I don't consider myself an expert at this though so I may be totally wrong.

Thanks for all your thoughts. Much appreciated.

Not really trying to market the domains was just going through various projects and trying to get a feel for current value and potential. This all helps thinking it through :)

PoshTiger - agreed that supermarket & old style dealers are a big chunk of the market but there's a layer in between. Majestic, Virgin Wines, Laithwaites etc

you just need to purchase Champagne.org.uk off me and that'll be a v. nice set ;) lol

I think £25k is a price that one could hope for, however I think it'd take quite a long time to actually find someone willing to pay that, based on domain value alone, i'd say £20k
