Wordpress "pingback" question

Hi. This may be a noob wordpress question, so apologies if so, but I have several blogs with good pagerank which get many "pingbacks" each day. How do I decide whether to accept these "comments" or not? Do I click the link and see whether the incoming site looks legit?

If you have Wordpress blog than most likely what you are receiving are spammy comments generated on autopilot by such crap like ScrapeBox

All pings/trackbacks are banned and all comments are moderated. Really the only way to stop all the useless 'Your site is so helpfull, I'm really glad I found it. Here check my shite link!!' spam comments.
