I doubt many will fall for the same stuff again, it was over done years back with scripts popping up everywhere doing the same thing. They haven't really changed the concept at all from some of those varients.

Looking at some of the current advertisers, I'd be very suspect that they've actually paid, probably gifted to make it look like there is more than there actually is. I mean i highly doubt Ravi from India has really paid $800 just to add his facebook profile for a start
