Following on from Edwin's other thread about films, what is the worst film you have ever seen ?

I will start with 'The Blair Witch Project' followed by It's Kind Of A Funny Story which I started to watch recently but turned off after 45 minutes as it was pure drivel !

Once Upon A Time In The East Midlands - awful, nothing interesting happens & characters were tedious.

Yo-Yo Girl Cop - I seem to remember it involved a girl, a yo yo and terrorists.

The horror movie Hatchet was naff. That said they made a sequel, so it can't have been all that unpopular.

I liked 'The Blair Witch Project'...

Worst films - can't remember the names of the truly worst - I've waalked out of the cinema a couple of times.

In general, pretty much anything my current wife wants to watch is dire.

There was a film with Joe Pesci in it called 'Eraser Head' which was utter tosh.

'Snakes On A Plane'
Love Samuel L Jackson - but that was one he should have said NO to!

Labyrinth with DavidBowie in the 80s. Only film I've ever walked out of. Dreadfull, absolutely dreadfull.

I was set up on a date once with this girl and she wanted to watch mamma mia, I could have jumped off a bridge, it bored me to death :(

More recently I watched men who stare at goats, don't waste your time with it !

Another crap film is cloverfield.

I'll second Mamma Mia, my wife loves it, for me its utterly dreadful, basically I have to leave the room. It's right up there with being forced to listen to a Celiene Dion album. :-(

Just looked up the title of a film I watched on my first date with the woman who became my wife - 'Street Fighter' starring Van Damme and Kylie Minogue...looking back I wasn't going short of sex around that time but I still sat through it with her. To be fair she hated it too, but it was her choice.

A promotions girl I went out with for 6 months wanted to see Jurasic Park - I fell asleep about 5 minutes in and apparently snored throughout. Don't know what it was about her...petite, blond, very pretty...I seem to have fallen asleep a lot with her; the only time I can remember ever falling asleep during sex was with her. Maybe it was because her mum was in the next room?

Who knows, maybe I nod off a lot but my wife just takes the opportunity to call it a day...

If so, then I throw it back at her; she must be doing something wrong - I've never fallen asleep having a wank.

Went to the cinema in early 90's to watch a film called "Naked Lunch" , never seen so many people leave a movie before the end, I lasted about 50% of the movie before leaving, it truly was sh1te.

Plot summary taken from IMDB.

After developing an addiction to the substance he uses to kill bugs, an exterminator accidentally murders his wife and becomes involved in a secret government plot being orchestrated by giant bugs in an Islamic port town in Africa.

Apollo18... I usually manage to get through most videos even if at the end I wonder why. This one I gave up on after 20mins.

Labyrinth with DavidBowie in the 80s. Only film I've ever walked out of. Dreadfull, absolutely dreadfull.

Labyrinth was great, how dare you!!!! :D

Oh, I forgot The Grudge was pretty crappy too. It's supposed to be a horror movie, but people kept on laughing in the cinema I was in.

Labyrinth is a kids film and in the 80's I was <10 years old so thought it was great also !

I think if Tifosi 'walked out' of the cinema, then he must have been alot >10 years old ;)

Yeah I thought 'The Grudge' was crap also. Another crap one I have watched in the last 12 months is Adventure Land - what a pile of rubbish.

Labarynth was amazing film forget this cgi crap i wanna see real pupputs all day long, i am so glad i was an 80s child!

The dark crystal another great classic

+1 for Labyrinth (again 80's child!) I remember a queue of about a fortnight from our local video rental shop before our turn. Those were the days.

Worst film EVER - MacGruber!

Almost anything with Nicholas Cage in it, that guy is the absolute worst actor ever in the history of the universe. Sometimes he flukes a role like in Kickass or Leaving Las Vegas where his ridiculous montone voice and lethargy fit the character and the plaudits carry him on for another ten roles.

I probably can't remember the worst film I saw and probably switched off after five mins, the biggest letdown after hype is a different case, easily Con Air by a long margin.

"Avatar" is worthy of mention (for being a steaming pile that is).
