Hi all,

Would you reg and use or resale a word-word-word.co.uk that has £85 cpc, 1000+ local exacts? In other words is there much value (if any) left in hyphen domains, especially with two hyphens?

Thanks,
Dave

Yep, I only ask as I've literally never owned one. Thanks mate helped make up my mind. :)

Unlikely but check if there is any way back, whom previous registrant was, if other tld’s are registered developed and who owns, competitiveness/demand amongst those in the field, number of paid listings etc and your chance of listing high enough ? Sales of multiple hyphens are not easy but if enough boxes are ticked they do sell?

I wouldn't buy/reg/use a double hyphen domain - they just look too spammy.

As a side note, I only own (and have only ever owned) one single-hyphen domain. It's actually fairly decent, but I'm still hesitant to put too much money into the sites development budget.

No.

Why does it need so many words and dashes? Doesn't make sense.

Are you talking about an exact match domain?
