You sell a name, the buyer doesnt action numerous nominet transfer requests, the name remains in your hosting account for six months, then gets automatically renewed.
What then ??? You cant chase forever. Is there an unwritten rule ?
That really annoys me, had it a couple of times where I have had to send multiple Nominet transfers after the buyer didn't accept the transfer within the 5 day period, you send them a PM, they say, sorry, I was busy, please send it again, so you do, same thing again or they say they say they didn't get it, can you send it again blah blah blah.
I can understand people might be busy, but when you see them logged in here reading the forums, why can't they take 2 minutes out to accept the transfer?
Personally, I would give people 3 chances now, if they don't accept it at the third attempt, they lose it, you reserve the right to either sell the domain again or delete it from Nominet, I don't see why I/you should have to repeatedly send transfer after transfer because someone can't be arsed to accept it

I would also go with the recorded letter approach giving them a reasonable time period to respond. If nothing, then decide what you want to do with the domain.
I guess you could try posting it up here saying please contact me for transfer too??
As long as you can show documented proof you tried your best to help the end user and they have taken no action, you can let it drop or refund and sell on to someone else at a higher price.
I have one I sold ages ago, he paid £100... Have emailed him and pm'd him with no reply, well known domainer aswell! Domain is still in my name and probably will be forever!
