Hi everyone

Over the past 12 years I've registered 53 domains that I thought might one day be useful for a business venture. But I'm now thinking that it might be better just to sell them.

The domains are all of ok quality including the likes of:

house-search.com
car-dealer.co.uk
job-search.co.uk
lasers.co.uk
my-offers.co.uk
furniture365.com
findfast.co.uk
wine-warehouse.com

I can provide the full list of 53 domains if requested.

My question is, what are the options and process for selling 53 domains? A big question I know, so any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards

Tim

I wouldn't mind a look at the list if you want to pm it over please?

Thanks, Grant

same here pls

Sure, fire it my way as well if you don't mind (and some idea of price expectations would be even better!)

As requested, below is the list of 53 domains. Apologies for the long post.

What are the options for selling? I've seen that a number of sites run domain auctions - what's your view on selling via an auction? How do I assure the best chance of getting a fair price?

Regards, Tim

Perhaps talk to Sedo or GreatDomains about getting lasers.co.uk into their premium auction. The other names, I recommend you accept offers on and sell if they look good enough...

Unless you are desparate for cash , hang on to them. They are peanuts to renew - develop any that take your fancy. Wait for serious 'end-user' enquiries - at least 10x what you will get from other domainers. Get them parked to get some stats and see who your market is.

Auction is a good way to sell domains but the downside of auctions are that some buyers who win the bid don't pay up. It is a real disappointment when the price goes higher than expected and then the transaction gets cancelled because the buyer does not pay. :(
