Just saw these in a list i had and thought it may be of some interest to someone:

Code:
Domain Name	Availability	Expiry Date	Overture	Overture(No TLD)
cargiant.co.uk Expired	09/02/2006	2666 3971

None are expired...

Perhaps he means the companies owning them are dissolved. I'd check except that the Companies House website is 'closed' for lookups today.

Edit: in fact, car giant is still trading of course, so in fact I have no idea what 'expired' means in this context...

I wonder why they close the CH site, it does seem a bit bizarre.

Cheers,

Philip.

probably to prevent data miners as they only work weekends ;)

commerce internet are very much alive and kicking so think its probably duff software giving dodgy results... I cant imagine a three letter .co.uk remaining expired for more than a few milliseconds ;)

Cheers,
Rob.

the domains have passed their date for renewal eg cargiant.co.uk was due on the 9th Feb.

shows as expired but its not yet suspended.

but does not mean they wont :)

this is what i was referring to. as none of them resolve anymore.. i should really have checked but it appears both of the 3 letters have been renewed but cargiant hasn't. its odd there still showing as as expired, usually its quite accurate
