Yes the text is pretty small, but it has a cool feature to zoom in, also add a laser key board and micro projector... Would totaly recomend it

Oddly enough I was playing with one yesterday - very neat devices!

The major draw back with these devices is always the keyboard.

People who genuinely want to work on the move aren't interested in music, video or a poxy 1.3MP camera - both of which are server better on other mobile devices like phones or ipods. They need to be able to type and send documents, proposals, artwork, email etc and the difference between working on a full size keyboard and something that's not much bigger than a mobile phone keypad is staggering.

I'd say it's nothing more than an amateurish gadget.

The best, IMO, lightweight portable pc always has been the IBM X Series. They're abit pricey though.

Totally agree, these devices have an instant wow factor but as soon as you want to use them for something reletively simple you find that more time is gone into bringing up the on screen keyboard and fumbling your way through it...

Wasn't Samsung the first to bring something like this out, I had a mailshot at work a few months back for the 'Q1', take a look:

They have one on display at Heathrow in Dixons, screen is very small but there is a zoom feature. I'd like one, but will wait for the price to drop a bit first.

I have one. Very nice. Had it for about six months. I use it a lot. Mine has the 36GB solid state hard disk so there are no moving parts. The screen is small but very very crisp. It is great for doing email and surfing while away. It has full XP so if someone mails you an attachement you can read and deal with is in the correct application. It is somewhere between a PDA and a laptop. You wouldn't want it for working on but for a powerful on the move device it is great.
