I think the whole silent auction bit has been a disaster in PR.

No-one knew it started on Monday and ran until 24th. This should have been publisiced yonks ago.

The PR they did put out for the whole thing had the wrong URL!!!

Bit of a rush job to say the least.

I have a bid on one of my names! there are 2 .co.uk's with bids, as it reaches it's final days the silent auction seems to be picking up steam.

There are now 42 names with bid's.

I guestimate only about 80 sold out of 2700 names. Not the "great porn rush" as expected.


Never mind, I'm sure it will now be an annual occurrence.
