I bought a .co.uk domain from someone on ebay last year. I paid for the domain, so he transfered it to my 123reg account and said he was going to post the nominet forms to me.

I have still not recieved the forms and have tried to contact him several times since, with no reply.

The whois is shown in his name, however the domain is my account with 123-reg, and i have proof i paid for the domain.

The domain is up for renewal on 1st May so i want to try and get this sorted ASAP.

Does anyone have any advice about where i stand, or what i could do?

Ben,

Give Nominet a call, explain the situation and ask them what their policy is for dealing with these situations.

Please post back the reply you get from Nominet.

Regards,

Sneezy.

Note you should still be able to do the renewal through 123-reg because the WHOIS isn't checked when this is done.

I have this exact same issue, if you find out anything from Nominet please do post an update!
