Affiliate/Dropshiiping

I have an affiliate site which as you will know will display products and when you click on the item or buy button will take you to the merchants website for you to checkout.
I have seen quite a few sites which appear to be the same but give the impression you are actually buying from their site i.e. you checkout on the site.
Can anyone advise is this still an affiliate or could it be a dropshipping setup?

It could either be a dropship site or a white label affiliate site
