It would be nice if we could see the face of each person asking a question from the audience.

That Taylor contract issue never seems to entirely disappear.

Which registrars did Kingston Communications buy?

As in tearing a strip off someone, asking awkward questions, or what?

The latter part of Note 16 to Nominet's accounts says this:

Nominet account said:
During the year Nominet UK purchased services with a value of £49,050 (2005 - £72,000) from Taylor Smith Ltd. Mr ****** Taylor, a director of Taylor Smith Ltd, is married to Mrs ***** Taylor who is company secretary of Nominet UK. Mrs ***** Taylor was a director of CENTR Ltd until her resignation on 28 July 2006, and Nominet UK paid membership fees to CENTR Ltd totalling £30,386 (2005 - £29,310) during the year.

The directors purchased domain names from Nominet in the year. The total amount invoiced per director was less than £200. These transactions were on an arm’s length basis, on normal business terms.

Beasty asked about the final sentence in the second paragraph above - he said that it suggested that the "arm's length basis, on normal business terms" only applied to the second para and not the first. Nominet confirmed in response to his question that the final sentence did in fact apply to both paragraphs.

To summarise: everything is kosher
