Anyone know about ResellServ.com?

Trader history (0)

Does it really expire tomorrow, or will it go through the usual expiry/auction route?

Many months later I am still trying to acquire this domain. Countless emails to Resellserv are going unanswered. Can i file a complaint to ICANN or some other body that they are neglecting their registrar duties? I don't want to be an arse, I just want the domain but can find no way to get it.

This is a familiar scenario. I spent a couple of years trying to acquire a .com, without success. The Registrar was in clear breach of ICANN rules, but nobody cares.

I used their online facility to report Whois errors. ICANN replied three months later to say the issue was resolved, but they had not even bothered to look at the Whois record.

I explained the details in an AD post some time ago.

Buying a .com - an impossible task?

My advice would be to save your energy and move on. There must be thousands of domains in a similar situation.

so they have a domain that you want yes?

If they don't wish to sell or deal with you that's their prerogative, not much you can do.

Not sure what you'd achieve by going to ICANN!

No, they are the registrar, the registrant is RSI expired domains. The registrar told me last year it was in the suspension phase and would drop, it was incorrect, they renewed it. Its nameservers point to SEDO but its not available to purchase. Crazy situation, registrar wont help, domain unwanted, unused and unable to buy by a willing buyer!

Some things we will never understand. The indifference of ICANN, and Registrars refusal to delete expired domains is one example.

Its a long game, my advise, book it in with the major drop catchers that will take a booking without it being in the drop cycle - one day maybe you'll get lucky.

I monitored and chased my surname .com for over 5 years, in the end, when it dropped it went through the Namejet auction process, and now its mine :)

A successful acquisition, after four years of chasing. The CEO persevered, with much patience and some assistance he gained an introduction to a senior figure at web.com, who referred him to a contact at NetSol.

Apart from the hassle and delay it was a good outcome. Buyer was happy to pay the price set by NetSol. Many more .com's that were out of reach, can now be bought.
