In case anyone was interested in the answer... You can point your domains in to names.co.uk. If you have many though, you'll need a Designer Account (reseller).
I have just migrated all my sites to them from 1&1 and have had exceptionally good service when posting technical questions.
They are a bit more expensive but well worth it. And, now my sites are hosted in the UK rather than in Germany. Nice.

Can't recommend them enough. Been with them for years - a bit pricey but worth it.
