Best way to snipe?

I've gotten tired of losing auctions because I forget to bid at the last minute!
Just wondering what you guys thought was the best solution to sniping auctions? Is there any linux based software I can use on my server or PC to avoid leaving my username/pass with a company?

On sedo? I think you can by sniping software for ebay...

Its been a while since i Used it, but i swore by CricketSniper with no end of '1 second to go' snipes managed, got no end of abusive emails from losing bidders who were also attempting to snipe....(Most satisfying)

I use auctionsniper.com

They've won me pretty much all auctions Ive used them for, it's free (just send out some invites when you run out) and trustworthy
