Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Pro's: 18,100 exact local matches

Con's: it's not the .co.uk

Many thanks.

I think this could work well as a site that lists high carb food and suggests tips on removing them from your diet etc. The .org.uk would work well for such a site.

Hi. This one probably would not be valuable for resale right now because of the extension, the fact that it is not a specific product/service, and perhaps also because of the length ("carbs" would be better). However, it certainly has development potential as Mat said. Once there is a little content and traffic, the name itself is attractive enough that it might sell then. Best of luck.

Carbs are of real interest to diabetics who are trying to manage their blood glucose levels. Given type 2 diabetes is on the rise there is certainly potential in tapping that market.

@mat: thanks Mat, that is a great suggestion. I’m a qualified PT so I have enthusiasm for this subject, which is always helpful when developing a site, so I’m told.
Thanks again !

@jacal1: thanks jacal1 - I agree with what you say about resale value at the moment. Development it is then ! Thanks again.

@smeatons: indeed - Type 2 is increasingly in the news, and mentioned in health-awareness tv shows a lot recently. Thanks for your reply.
