Caught the co.uk but missed the .uk?

What's interesting to me, I was approached by someone who got the .UK but not the .co.uk, they implied the .co.uk was only worth about 50% more than the .uk, so if the .uk is worth 20% of the .co.uk, do people just make the numbers up :P

Yes. What else can they go off? There have been no .uk sales yet.
 
Thats what i mean, I know my co.uk's well and as a spectulator i would try my luck at 20% of what the value of the co.uk are.. it could end up just being like me.uk and others that were hyped to death..

I don't think so, it is definitely (regardless of the current state) the future of the uk namespace.
 
Thanks dave, yeah I try to do a bit of shooting around here where i am.. and i am quite happy with some catches i am making and my new admin system its freeing up alot of time so i can look at more domains.
