He might be feeling 'down' and in a 'tight spot'. I suspect everyone on site has been 'shafted', so they could probably could do with a 'lift'!

Came back from a clip of the other guy who was talking to the father of a couple of the miners down there. "That was Mr Avalos who was the father ..... is the father of two of the miners."

At least look interested in what your colleague is saying!

They should have got Davina McCall for eviction night.

It would've made much better TV if there'd been no contact with the miners from the beginning and when they emerged later today everyone at the site was dressed in Planet of the Ape costumes

But at least those two BBC reporters are speaking fluent Spanish to the locals. Pretty good coverage when the first one came out and hats off to the guys who actually went down there. No chance would you catch me going down there.

That first rescuer is a complete hero. He must have gonads of titanium. Just another example of human selflessness in the face of terrible danger - iconic - as is the whole operation. Hats off to the Chilean authorities who have shown great skill and compassion.

I think they'll keep them on for a couple of weeks. As a Scot, I basing this on the length of time I have to keep sunglasses on when going to Portugal.
