Thought I'd upped the reserve on BirthdayPresents.co.to a higher reserve.

How does this compare to auctioning a domain like BirthdayPresents.co.uk?

Yes I own four letter domains, that I paid peanuts for and would be willing to risk putting up for auction with a low, or even no reserve.

However, I wouldn't risk auctioning good domains on Sedo with low reserves for the very good reason that unless good generics are effectively marketed to end users, they will not fetch a good price.

I'm happy ChristmasCards.co.uk didn't sell at 1.5k - more upset that I sold BirthdayPresents.co.uk for just 2k!

Good buy for someone, underpriced when you see some of the domains that sell for a similar price.

I think when you put good generics for auction on SEDO you really need to contact as many potential end users as you can to let them know it's up for auction otherwise you're probably going to end up with a reseller price.

Look on the bright side if you reg'd it for £6 then you've made a very healthy profit.

Agree with Slater, it's a bargin for the buyer as they probably have some use for it. But for others it might seem expensive and hell yes if you only reg it for £6 you earn a hugh profit.
