I'm currently thinking about going Limited Liability and wondered how the process works with regard to my nominet tag/membership? Can I effectively transfer my membership (TAG and domains) to the company? Is that how it's supposed to work?

I did this myself a while back. IIRC you need to apply for a new TAG for the company, this then becomes your main TAG/Membership account (all billing etc. goes through the company name/address associated with it) and your existing personal TAG becomes a sub-TAG of it.

You then need to decide which TAG you'll be using in the future. Register a domain in your new company name/address on that TAG to create a new account and then do a bulk transfer of your existing domains over to that new account.

Nominet were really helpful with it and I'm sure they can explain it better than I just have :)
