Has anyone got any examples of sites, infographics they feel display information really well?

I'm looking for a little inspiration

Thanks

An example of what I wanted to do was

Say Disney world has different types of rides, water rides, rollercoasters, simulators etc, but certain types or rides are only open on certain days

I wanted to display what type of ride was open each day in a way that was faster/easier than just listing in text

What i decided to do what make some buttons representing each thing, put a glossary of buttons on the left, the days of the week on the right, and then the buttons for each given ride next to the day of the week should they be open that day

I wont show you the full thing, it's not anything too impressive, but these were some of the buttons I made

Wouldn't a table format be easier? Days across the top, rides down the left, green ticks or red crosses for open or closed. You could also subdivide the rides by groups of the same type of ride if that was relevant.

That's off the top of my head, based on the kind of data you're describing.

(Gosh, I made a mangled mess of those image codes - ignore everything below this parenthesis. But the above is what I was thinking of, but with a designer's touch to make it much much prettier than my rubbish 5 minute effort!)

Hmm that's an interesting idea, but maybe a bit too sterile
