How might I forward all possible non existent page resolutions i.e. http://www.domain.co.uk/1.htm http://www.domain.co.uk/2.htm http://www.domain.co.uk/zebra.asp http://www.domain.co.uk/infinity.php to point to one referral link?

I know that on sedo it's automatic when you use namerservers but I wish to point elsewhere as a trial.

So when someone visits any of those links, you want it to forward them elsewhere?

Easy

Something like this should work. Assumes you are using apache, can use .htaccess files, and mod_rewrite is installed (it is by default):

1) Create a blank text file, call it .htaccess. If you already have one, then append the code in step2 to the end of it

2) Use this code:

RewriteEngine On

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.domin.co.uk$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.123-reg.co.uk/affiliate.cgi?id=AF106554 [L,R=301]

So go into cPanel, click file manager, find .htaccess, edit and place the above and every conceivable url will end up at the referral link?

Nice one, thanks for that. I was watching a porn channel the other night completely by mistake of course and the relevent domain dropped the morning after, how lucky was that? :mrgreen: Not sure if the traffic is any good yet though.

that should work. If you want to also forward for subdomain.domain.co.uk it gets a bit trickier, and would involve some DNS editting

Thanks for that, that's a much better alternative than changing nameservers to sedo, now I can keep a domain on hosting and flip it anywhere.
