Looks like Denys is adding in t-shirts with his domains?!

Not sure I really get it, but certainly very interesting.

Haha looks good i should get a one done for bigboobs.co.uk [emoji12]

I hope Wix are paying Deny for that plug.

— easily build a stunning website with wix.com (not included)

I cant imagine anyone in their right mind would openly recommend Wix to the type of audience that Domainlore probably attracts most.

I don't really get it either! Seems to distract away entirely from the purpose of the site. Hope it doesn't put visitors off.

Agreed, can't help but think that any newcomers to the site that this is going to be confusing, is it a domain name auction site or a domain / tshirt sales platform?! I can't really see it taking off. And it now pushes the whole auction visibility below 3 massive images of tshirts..

Maybe it's a short term paid ad and will be gone soon. I agree with others, I don't think it's a great fit for the site.

I think it's probably better not to rush to judgement. It's very hard to imagine sticking that banner on the homepage for a matter of hours will catch the attention of more than a few dozen people, maybe a hundred, no matter how big the banner is. It's not like DomainLore's the front page of Google or something, with millions of visitors a day!

NOTE: I'm not saying it's a good business idea, but merely pointing out that it's not going to make a shred of difference to the viability of DL in the long run even if Denys is having a little test... Assuming he takes it down again in the near future, nobody* will have even noticed the banner was ever there.

(*rounded down, but not much)

Its only on the homepage and selected auctions, I think the homepage images should maybe placed below the first block of listings. But all round I wouldnt begrudge anyone trying to earn a few extra pennies and trying new things, ultimately most of us wouldnt even look at it anyway so for a trivial homepage banner I cant see it effecting usage of any kind.

Looks like he's got a deal with a T-shirt company and Wix. It does add a bit of personality to the site. However, the title:

"DomainLore Presents: First Ever Domain T-shirt Auction"

Does not sound right to me, it doesn't explain the offer well.

Yes, maybe that's part of the issue as I did initially wonder what was going on. If it was smaller with clearer text I don't think it would seem out of place. Like you say though, it does add a bit of personality and I'd glad that advertisers have taken interest in a platform that has made a real difference in its own way.

Im not a fan of it. Doest fit the site and is confusing.

Maybe add a new tab at the top for "T Shirt auctions".

I guess the t-shirt is a freebie that gets thrown in with the domain... a nice bit of novelty factor for domains that need a bit of extra spice!

Very confusing.....have got a domain on there at the moment (without bids), would have held off if I'd known this was going to appear (not that i'm saying it's caused my domain not to get bids but it certainly doesn't help!)

I'm running a bit low on pants, so I'm going to wait until they've moved on from tshirts before putting a bid in.

The good thing about working from home is that you don't need to wear pants...

I'm going to bid on one of the domains but have no interest in the t-shirt, completely pointless in my view. If you were to add anything, a logo or something might be good added value, but not a fricking t-shirt.

May be end user buyer might like it, but on a platform where 99% of buyers/sellers are traders of domain names, cant see it as a good thing. I cant imagine collecting T-shirts I don't need for domain names I bought that I will park.
