just looked at domainlore and I understand that they are charging a £50 fee if my domain does not sell ???

why dont they just charge a commission on sales that go through?

Seems fair to me, from his point of view people might to think about the quality of their names before submitting them for auction?

I don't know how many names get submitted to Domainlore everyday but this way people can have their domains appraised by the market, if you get a bid then you don't need to pay.

Only those submitting names that they have doubts about attracting bids will need to worry. If people are that confident in the quality of their names then no need to worry.

They won't be crap if people are betting £50 a pop on it

But the way I read it, yep things will get added near enough automatically to the hidden gems section then get transferred over to the premium when someone bids on it.

You get to choose whether or not it goes to 'Hidden Gems' auction. I submitted three before the revamp, they're now sat in my control panel waiting for me to push them to auction, only one was accepted as premium, the other two I can chance on the Hidden Gems if I want.

One thing I aren't certain of is once a hidden gem auction receives a bid, does the end time get extended? If not, there's no point buyers bidding on it until the last minute, because it may receive more attention once in the premium section.
