Have you also been to the moon?

I've permission to state amounts now. It was a bulk sale the other week so I let them go cheaper, as you do.

Interesting, maybe there's more interest in these type of domains than I thought, though I still think they're crap. :)

Maybe i'll be able to sell my only e domain, eplans.co.uk, one day after all!!

Ok fair enough... hey how come your last couple of posts have been edited... how come you always edit your posts?

- As for "e" names they are hit and miss - infact if anybody has sold any you have been lucky.. "e" style domains are brandable and therefore the chances of a company/buyer wanting it are very slim, almost non existant.

We all know that if the domain name would of just been property co.uk it would be hundreds of times better and more appealing.

I would not even register eproperty.co.uk....

Thanks
Sean

Sadly I have to agree some e and I's are ok ... I have edebtconsolidation with differening extensions they get traffic

interscope

I think u should give interscope a break - the blokes only trying to make a decent buck...

half the people here are just jealous that they didnt have the vision to reg a half decent name like that (wish I had), and they've got nothing better than a few crappy LLL.org.uks with 3 UV PM to whack-off over

- (opps sorry hope i did not offend anyone out there eating, their pot-noodle meals whilst looking at deleting.co.uk every 36 seconds, hoping for sex.co.uk to drop :p).

eProperty £5 now = £,£££+ now thats a good investment..

i4v.net

Thats prob. the most sensible comment made so far on this thread.

Now that is funny! :) :)

No, unfortunately the people bidding on your domain probably have tens of thousands in the bank and assets which can be liquified in hours to raise the capital they require to fund whichever venture needs their immediate attention. So become trusted and if you have the right doman, then you'll get the domainer price you're after.

Yup understand what you are saying.. do you think most people are still trying to jump on the band wagon" still registering in hope "e" "i" domains after seeing the sucsess of "eBay and others?

With regards to edebtconsolidation - if you could, would you swap it for debtconsolidation ;)

Service style domain names are much better than brandable domains whilst trying to resell.

Cheers

Sean ..

Ps feel free to reply :)

Of course not lol

But then again price is everything!

Private bids

Last question; How come all of the existing bidders are 'private bidders'. How does that work? Is that just an ebay default? Thanks.

:)

Not sure on that one. Like I said I am not big on selling domains on eBay or anything else for that matter. I am using a family members account to list it. I'll find out, if you want me to? Don't no if it displays the winning bidder at the end of the auction?

The seller enables secret bidding to enable people to bid in an environment where they can feel there's an air of privacy. I would expect it's usually used to enable a higher bid amount, a bit pointless with domains because you can check whois after but in the bidding process, not knowing who's going after the domain enables mr property developer to get it at a domainer price or ensure mr domainer isn't competing with a known other domainer knowing they only invest in domains they can get ten times the value for... etc.

the whole thing sounds dodgy to me.

probably all his mates bumping up the price.

IMO it's not worth half that.

WHY ?

This breaks Ebay rules and can only create problems for the buyer if a dispute should arise after the auction.

This account has only had three transactions and already only 80% positive feedback hardly a glowing endorsement.

I am also confused as to why you don't just open a account in you own name?

It all sounds very dodgy!!
