Flip nameservers appear to be down

... which is a bit annoying for those of us with domains in the middle of an auction but there you go.

Hopefully someone there will spot it and rectify it soon.

Yes - the nameservers are back up and running now. Just a small outage.

So, I've just received the newsletter which says that Flip will be closing down in two weeks. Perhaps not entirely unrelated.

I'll be sad to see it go but it clearly wasn't a money spinner for them in the long term.

Ryan seems to be tired of “0”/low-profit activities and it looks like is preparing for business with better margins, less stress .. don’t we all dream of it? .. also, seems to have found a peace of mind in .com names
