Admin: I didn't think this belonged in the "adult" section. If I'm wrong feel free to move it. So yes, just reg'd FunnyShit.org.uk which gets 40,500 exact searches. It looks like Name Account Inc is the owner of FunnyShit.co.uk and just forward it to about.co.uk which they also own. I think it's a good reg. Anyone else? Any ideas as to value?

Now if you can offer the reasoning behind your rather blunt conclusion that would help me from making poor decisions in the future that would be wonderful. Is it because of the .org.uk extension? Because it is quite valuable in the .com extension and probably not as much so but still holds good value in the .co.uk extension.

Names like that have no inherent value on .org.uk unless alot of work goes into development. Product specifics, names, geo's, services are generally the only type of names with any sort of value based on the name alone with org.uk - even then they are only worth between 2 - 10% of the comparable .co.uk.

If you were to develop the name, get it ranked, get it earning then yes - it would be worth something, but then any earning site would be. You are asking for an appraisal on the name, and as it stands you wouldn't be able to get a fiver for it.

That's fair enough and I thank you for the elaboration. It helps me make better decisions being new to the .uk market. Two years is a long time to get stuck with a bad name.
