I don't personally know the guy or his business but I would say one thing and that's a big respect for the guy. He knows his stuff when it comes to the true value of generic domains. ;)

This guy has massive balls, but when you rationalise his spend on furniture.co.uk versus the size/value of the furniture market (his comments suggest £20bn per year), it looks like a shrewd purchase indeed.

I'm a massive fan of generic domains and think this is a good acquisition, bravo to the guy!
