Google Sitemap Submission

You can now submit your sitemaps to Google for indexing:

http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/login

by creating a special XML file of your site. Example here:
https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/docs/en/protocol.html#sitemapXMLExample

There is a free sitemap generator:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/goog-sitemapgen

but looks a bit tricky to the non-coder.

If anyone figures out an easy way (or easy to follow instructions) to create the XML file please post back here.

It only seems to be for php/linux systems and not windows/asp

Cool thanks. I still would have thought Google should have been made easier than having to edit PHP files etc to come up with a specific format XML file it can read. :?
