Hi Lee,

I can assure you that we take support matters very seriously and certainly do not intend to "fob off" customers with excuses so I do hope that you don't think that we do not investigate issues seriously.

Please note, as stipulated in our terms and conditions, that no refunds are offer on domain name purchases:-

4.7 Heart Internet provide "Money-Back Guarantees" on certain products. Should your product qualify for this guarantee please raise a support ticket at http://customer.heartinternet.co.uk/manage/ within 30 days of placing your order for a full refund. This guarantee excludes domain names which may not be cancelled once ordered. Customers are limited to using the money-back guarantee once.

20 DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION

20.1 Domain names are not deemed to be successfully registered until they appear in the relevant whois database of the top level domain name registrar. In the event that a domain name is unavailable when we attempt to register it Heart Internet will provide a full refund for that domain name, this will be the full limit of our liability.

To view our full terms and conditions then please visit: Heart Internet Ltd Terms and Conditions

However, as gesture of goodwill, I may be able to offer you a refund to commission. I shall consult with High Level Management and get back to you ASAP by updating this ticket. Your patience is appreciated during this time.

why does incompetence rile me so much?

Oh dear, you could just phone up your bank and get a charge back done, doesn't look good on a company if they have lots of charge backs.

Forget heart, try ukreg!

Hahaha Lee,

You've just been bitten by Heart's incompetence, mate if I was to show you the list I have of conversation with these muppets, you'd think you got off lightly.

How about them deleting 30 of my websites by mistake, lol

Or them taking £150 to set up my dedicated server and then shutting it off after 15 days because I made a complaint, no refund either.

tagadab.com I can honestly say I have never had better service than these guys.

I love how these companies blame Nominet for being 'slow' - I wonder if Nom realises the damage being done to their brand by such instances.

They all do it, 123 reg used to do it, nom should write it in their terms, "blaming us for your shoddy services may well see you in court sunshine"

Last year I made an unannounced visit to Heart's Nottingham HQ off University Boulevard to see what they were all about. They were rather uncomfortable at having an actual customer turn up at the premises and cited health and safety and insurance issues as good reasons why I wasn't welcome.

A true story.

if they have not been invoiced out for your purchase, the domain can be deleted out using their key and CLi... if its past the 17 days (noms billed them period) they cannot.. regardless of T&C get your wedge back...
