Received 2 emails over the last couple of days from Nominet as a reminder 2 domain names were due for renewal.

Strange, as all domains are set for autorenew and the c/card up to date.

So I pop over to Heart, bring up renewals and nothing showing for renewal.
Check whois and right enough, they had not been renewed. :evil:

Not good. Very worrying.



Time for a move. Who's the most reliable? Daily?

Get your own Nominet membership and then you can run everything your way!

Daily is the only company I recommend for .co.uk. I had this conversation with a name I sold today.

Apart from email/web forwarding which isn't an option (as far as I know) otherwise I'd do exactly that. I use Daily, having switched from the terrible Fasthosts and service seems ok; good customer backup.

You can do the email / web forwarding yourself with a simple reseller account or VPS

Thanks for the replies. I don't have enough names to warrant a Nominet membership so Daily it is.

Anyone know if there is a bulk transfer out facility with heart? I can't see anything.
If not, if I do a bulk tag change through Nominet is the charge only £12 for the lot?

It looks like it is one domain at a time. Anyone bulked in? How did you do it? Contact support?

I have no idea on heart tag change, I don't think many registrars make it easy to transfer out :/
