How do you find an expired domain with traffic???

could somebody please tell me the best way to find a domain with traffic???

as i only use deleting.co.uk but this does not give you traffic stats

i.e. there is no sure fire way of telling the traffic on a domain before you buy it and test it out.

google results and overture and backlinks are indications but not certainties.

If you do find one, please tell me before you register it

Yup that's right, just go to overture, go to the resource centre and use the tool there. Search for domain.com for instance.

I use this small application to input .txt based lists of domain names. The program will then automaticaly run them all through archive.org, (WayBack Machine) saving screenshots of any site change links that show. Any domains that have never had a website on them will be ignored.

You might then use that gathered data to gauge just how busy the site may have been in the past, and use that info to access whether it might be worth regging, to harvest potential residual traffic.

No.. I went to Firefox users click here. Got to the part where it said url to allow - couldn't find the url to enter into the box.
