I sold a domain on domainlore and the buyer paid for the transfer on Sunday but it still hasnt been transferred from my Nominet account, I thought it normally takes less time than this......can anyone shed any light on the Nominet transfer time, should I be contacting them?

Thanks in advance

Jason

I've had domains transferred immediately and some days later.
I don't know if that is nominet sending the mails out late or people not finding them until later - or whether there's a spam issue.
Generally they cancel the transfer if it is not accepted after 5 days.
It may be the buyer hasn't seen the email.

The transfer takes place as soon as the new registrant pays Nominet. If the new registrant has completed the process, they should contact Nominet support as the domain is technically theirs now, not yours. Is it still on your TAG or still in your account? I have domains visible from my account that still have my contact email, but have the new registrant's name and the new registrant obviously hasn't yet updated the contact details correctly.

Thank you both

Its still showing as mine, though the buyer has contacted Nominet so hopefully it will get sorted asap...

Thanks again
