How many days does a .co.uk domain drop after expired?

Hello experts

If a .co.uk domain has expired on 6th Oct 2010, when will it become available (dropped)?

Up to today, I notice that a domain which has expired more than 90 days ago are still not available.

It is already 8-jan-2011 but the domain is still not dropped ! What is happening..

That's the beauty on the .uk domain space, there are always exceptions to the rules and generally Nominet operations will not explain these even to members

If it's not dropped, then it may not, there may be a dispute ongoing or another reason, but there's no publicly visible status set to show this.

If somebody has backordered it, the domain must have been updated in the whois search.

Is it possible that nominet keep the domain for themselves? or let it to auction?
