Looking at a number of options, I'm quite surprised that these domains haven't been registered: thekoran.co.uk thekoran.uk thekoran.org.uk alquran.org.uk Even as type in traffic with forwarding I should have thought they would have appeal to somebody. I've chosen not to reg them because they are not high enough up on my list, but the scale of interest is reflected in Google's listing of 108,000,000 sites if you type in the Koran, and 167,000,000 if you type in al quran. Anyone care to educate me on why they're sitting there unclaimed?
Hi, I don’t think there could be much use for them... Koran is the anglo spelling where the proper spelling is Quran
Well I think you've answered a question for me and thank you. I don't monetise my domains anyway, I was just interested why they hadn't been taken. I buy religious domains because I run a few religious websites!
http://www.whisperedlove.com http://www.godde.com They're just personal websites! I have a few others which I'm still developing.
Being someone which operates within the domain space and also being within the UK.. I'm surprised you haven't secured your .co.uk versions just to safeguard yourself.
My other interests are mountaineering http://www.greenlandexpedition.org Family history http://www.manar.org.uk Literature http://www.shakespearean.co.uk And history, AI, space, football, politics and one or two other topics
I multiple reg when I am trying to protect a domain, but with personal stuff that's not always important to me.
