iPhone 5

Hi Guys,

Anyone getting the new iPhone 5 been kicking myself about not pre-ordering yesterday morning now the wait is over 3-4 weeks (ordering online)

Thinking of queuing up outside Arndale centre in Manchester around 5pm on the thurday for opening 8am friday?

Am i bonkers?

Got 4 x black 16gb and 1 x 32gb pre-ordered coming friday. Queuing up can be fun but if not queuing up and getting one delivered on Sat worth ££ to you make me an offer

Friday pre-orders sold out in an hour and a half. Probably won't be that many in stores either

Have any of the networks got preordering? Im with O2 and they don't. I've heard Orange and Tmobile are the only ones that will be doing 4G initially...

All the networks websites seem to allow pre-ordering, including o2?
Even orange and t-mobile will only have 4g only in certain big cities. Three should have 4g too in about 6 months, maybe by the end of the year and have nice tariffs http://www.three.co.uk/Store/Phones/iPhone/iPhone_5

Hmm I last checked yesterday and O2 hadn't got a preorder option. I'll check again

See Orange and T-Mobile will be disappearing from the High Street soon, owners rebranding them as EE

Personally I think its a daft idea, Orange in particular being such a strong brand

Ive used iPhones since the 3 came out and have waited to see how the 5 would compare. I use Macs, MacBook and ipad too and all are fantastic products.
However i think i have become bored of the iPhone. An extra row of Apps and more power.. Maybe i was expecting too much! Could be time to try android....

Best gadget I've ever bought is my iPad 2 last year - it's a really great piece of kit, use it for all sorts (from cooking in the kitchen to show recipes, to playing games, watching video, browsing and audiobooks, etc, etc, etc!) - an apple swiss army knife, lol.

I'm holding off buying a new phone until 4g comes out. Was toying with getting an S3 but decided to treat myself to the kindle fire for xmas. I have a work bb so kindle will replace my existing kindle and give me web access whilst BB for calls/emails.

Really??!!

Your going to queue up over night just for a phone, that lets all be honest, is not great and is going to cost a fortune!

I know this will start an argument but I do laugh at all the people queuing up for a phone, I read today that people started yesterday, camping outside a shop for 6 days!!
