I don't often go after these kind of service + geo domains, but London ones always jump out at me so I went for (and caught) this one. What kind of value could this have?

Do you mean if the org.uk drops in September
or if Nominet drop their proposals for DOTUK
Or if Nominet change the rules ?

a lot of if's coming into it before you even start.
I would phone Nominet on this one and ask their advice.

I highly doubt the .org.uk will drop, the registrant is an internet marketer. So let's assume the .co.uk owner will not get .uk, does it still have value?

With keyword domains, people are usually less concerned about branding rather than ranking.

So I don't think .uk will harm this too much anyway.

The point I was making was that valuing domains is already not easy and the .uk makes things even more uncertain.
