Not wishing to step on any toes or speak out of turn, Id like to know if anything has been arranged for Acorn to remember Jee?

I only ask as I would be keen to do what I can for his family. I was thinking perhaps of an Acorn auction, with all proceeds being given over? I have a couple of domains that should reach perhaps £100 and im happy to donate them.

There will be something arranged - nothing is firmed up yet, but it seems an auction of names is very likely and then hopefully later in the year perhaps an 'offline' meet up of people who knew him.

With regards to the auction once things are abit firmer I will be hitting everyone up to get them involved, be it domains / skills donations / time donations etc.

If there is anything being done on behalf of Khalid/Jeewhizz I'd would like to donate £100 to any collection.

Rob brought up this idea with myself, Stephen and Fraser. I think it is a fantastic idea and I would be keen on assisting where possible.

Nominet has an enormous slush fund for charitable works. Khalid was a respected Nominet member. I'd like to suggest they be approached with the intention of requesting that they consider using a small sum to create an educational scholarship/bursary in an area of interest for Khalid/Emma.
