Had my domain (PlayTheDream.com) valued at $2,000 last week by a one of the top domain sites, but to get it on their auctions is a pain! They only seem to like one name domains these days.

Any ideas where else to get listed without costing the earth? I have seen some really stupid domains on their site as well asking stupid money how do they get away with it?

The guys like us with (what I consider) good, worthwhile domains don't get a look in.

Hi

I am not asking anyone to belive it. I have seen far worse go for a lot more, domain names have a value of what people are willing to pay.

If I was in the business of selling Stradivarius violins, or top-end collectable guitars, I might pay you for that name.
Right now, I can make more money out of UncleFredsHolidayInWolverhampton.co.uk or something similar.

You need to target your market, and send out letters by snail mail to carefully selected company directors if you want to make good money out of that domain, with proper speling and gud Inglish.

pick your tgt market and pitch it in - I'd call over writing but get your story straight... potential, volumes etc

I've got to say it isn't one I'd have bought or be expending time punting about
