Live Streaming Video......

I need to set up a live streaming web cam from a laptop thats published to a web page on a site. (so a live web cam really not through MSN or Skype)

It has to be pretty live not 20 seconds delay etc.

I have tried dozens of things including Media Encoder, Coffee cup and a lot more.

If anyone has set one up please share your method (I don't want links to software that might work, need a proven bit of software that has worked for you)

how funny is this, ive been looking for a security solution where i can have a camera outside and linked to a pc that is recorded 247

any solutions people might have would be appreciate

No, No worries Paul,

I did have a security webcam set up a few years ago which worked well. It was called some thing like "super spy vision".

Very powerful and did the usual - emailed you when movement was detected and took images and recorded video on-demand or continuously.

thanks, ill take a look at that today. ive been thingking of settingup a laptop with webcam that records 247 but something more versatile would be best i think.

There's also some Nokia Symbian S60 software that will do this if you site the camera indoors; perhaps behind a window. You can grab an old Nokia S60 that will work for peanuts on eBay.
