Living in London

I moved to london around 6 months ago, Richmond. Its a lovely place, beautiful actually. The only gripe I have is nobody here talks to you in bars. Being from the highlands I'm not used to that.

So... this might sound a bit weird, but if anyone on AD is within reach of me and fancies a pint sometime, please do let me know. I'm feeling a wee bit lost.

It seems likely, now, with hindsight that you've probably been to a bar and stood there all night staring into a fair few glasses before going home and posting here.

London isn't a nice cosy little hamlet where everyone knows everyone else. People can be insecure and appear hard to talk to. Try meeting people through something you and they have a mutual interest in, perhaps?

Why couldn't you post something like this first rather than taking the piss ..Yet another thread gone to shits!
