Hi

i havent used my dna software for a while, i tried today and its returning the response quota of lookups exceeded, i looked at nominet and they are saying its 1000 per 24 hrs, crikey!

is this a new change it used to work fine, i only run about 3000 through it every couple of weeks, anyone know a way around this?

That is attempted and failed registrations as far as I know,

I think you're allowed up to 10,000 lookups per day.

Someone can correct me on this.

i went to look one up one nominets homepage and i got:

Error for "wxyz.co.uk".

The WHOIS query quota for 217.206.46.222 has been exceeded
and will be replenished in 4443 seconds.

its noting my ip and then kicking me out?

Lookups are limited to 1000 per 24 hours from any one IP

It logs your ip,

so if you're banned in one place you'll be banned all over.

It will last about a day usually.
