iv just got my son a sim free 3gs, can anyone recommend a good mobile phone insurance company, as there is always a chance its going to get lost/stolen at school.

The 'incase' slider is the best unobtrusive protection. Also, your operator may be cheapest for the insurance.

Check your current account with your bank a lot of them provide free mobile phone insurance aswell as travel insurance and breakdown cover.

I know with NatWest if you have a gold advantage account you get free mobile phone insurance up to £500.

I've got a bank account with lloyds bank where I pay an additional £15 a month for AA cover, mobile phone insurance x 3 and travel insurance.

That might be the best option if you've got a couple of phones, a car and go away on holidays abroad

There's also http://www.instantcover.co.uk/iphone-insurance/ where is says cover for 3gs about £70.

Instantcover is a site I bought a while back, so I can't recommend the product, but seems to match what your after
