So one presumes that the domain name generated very little income. I wonder what the price would have been if the domain name had been as good as this one (money.co.uk has to be one of the top ten vanity ones I can contemplate) and generated a substantial annual PPC revenue of, hypothetically, £250,000? This sort of figure is easily is obtainable in the UK PPC finance sector.

I would agree that the main slant would be towards the vanity aspect of the name. It does seem a no brainer to invest a few quid to cook up a network of sites and add zeros to domain > site> network values!

Out of interest, what is Mr Invincible's top ten vanity names?

Yes, the price was for the domain name alone, and nothing to do with a website, search ranking, or existing traffic. Typeins would have been around 100 daily. Of course I'm sure they are higher right now (and even higher once this story hits a few newspapers). It looks like an excellent site.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but now I'm getting even more endearing $100 offers for one of my domains
